It's the way you look at me...
that just makes me love you even more every day! What is it about our pets that just sends us into a spiral of endless love? When we go upstairs, he always goes before me and waits to see if I'm still following him up. When we go out side and he barks at all the passersby making sure I'm protected. And can't forget how he sleeps in the middle of the bed against my back making sure I get an uncomfortable sleep whilst he sleeps soundly.

Oh, Gordo (aka Fofo), what is it about you that I can't get enough of?

Christmas in Mexico!
Ever since I was a little wee tot, my family would make the 20 hour drive (sometimes bus ride) to Chihuahua, Mexico to visit family. As I've gotten older, with more responsibilities and obligations, it's gotten harder to vacation with my family in Mexico. And yet, I make the effort every year to visit, even if I have to move mountains!

So this year, on Christmas, you will find me drinking ponche, eating some yummy desserts and authentic home made Mexican food. I love Mexico in the winter!

I will try to keep an updated log of my trip so I can share the beauty of my family, Mexico, and the holidays.

And with that I wish everyone a wonderful holiday!!

Here's a snippit of my trip from 2007.

Quote for the day

Life isn't about waiting for
the storm to pass...

it's about learning to
dance in the rain!

Given the weather, I felt this quote was more than appropriate :) Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving or a really long weekend with those you love!

Newborns are always so magical. They possess the magical power to captivate us in a way that we can only sit and be in awe of them. To think that this little person will one day be someone in the world. I was very happy to photograph this little one the other day.

As the light faded, we were able to capture her slowly awaking to a beautiful California sunset.

Missing In Action
I've been a little MIA as of lately. Let me explain:

  • The time change hasn't affected my sleep schedule except that it has led me to crawl beneath a blanket and watch a good flick which in turn makes me high unproductive.
  • School has passed its midterm mark and now the stress of finals has set in. I have successfully registered for next semester and will graduate in May. Whoo hoo!
But now it's time to get focused and back on track! I have some gorgeous family photos coming soon so stay tuned! Hopefully they'll be up by tonight!

It's time again
For holiday portraits! I love this time of the year when families get together and really pull together close. It's the best time to be thankful for every one who has made a difference in our lives and those people are our families!

So I always love to see families interact and be joyful and really appreciate each other. And the best part is being able to send that wonderful chemistry among family members in a holiday card. Here are some that I've designed.

And don't forget to book your family session before Dec 1st to get holiday cards in time!!

Be Jealous!
Just like Michael Jackson, The New Kids on the Block, when 99.1 KGGI was the only popular station around, and when multi-colored Keds were the must have shoe, Madonna was there to remind every girl in the world that they could be just as cool as she.

She has transcended through decades with her music and still to this day amazing me as her talent remains to capture people world-wide.

...and tonight, I get to see the diva live!!! My excitement to see her is eating me up! I can't wait to dance like crazy in the stands, share the experience with thousands of other people (I'm sure it will be a sold out event), and sing next to my mom and my sister!

Thanks Dad, for this amazing gift ever!!!

A Sticker Worth Your Freedom
After time it will loose its sticky power, its colors will fade, and it may even get lost or thrown away. But it is the very symbol that is worth more than words or being stuck to the front of your shirt.

This small oval shaped sticker with two words and a flag are worth more than anything else in the United States...its worth is FREEDOM.

The freedom to dream, to be, to have, to give, to show, and to speak whatever it is you want. The freedom to make a better life for yourself and your future.

"I Voted" and I wear the sticker proudly. Its a proclamation that I made a difference in this world and even though I don't know what the outcome will be, I feel proud.

Have you received your freedom sticker today?
