I met Cory my freshmen year in High School, during band camp. Yes, I was a marching band member and we totally kicked ass! She was funny, helpful, talented and smart. We were fellow Blue Star Regiment members.
I was so excited to shoot some photos of her and her basson mainly because I know how it is to have something you're so passionate about that it becomes an extension of you. Like me and my camera. It also gave us a good chance to catch up on things and reconnect.

Cory now lives in London where she received her Master's degree in music. Even though marching band is years behind us, she is still funny, helpful, talented, and smart.
Thanks Cory for allowing me to take photos of you, maybe some day I'll go to a concert and hear you play (in London, of course!)

A few more shots from my medium format Rollei camera. First, here is my camera:

And here are the beautiful Fujifilm square formatted photos, untouched. Focus is a little off, but that is something I can correct. Seems like some are over exposed too, but I like it. Film is just so amazing. I hope to do an actual shoot with my Rollei soon...that would be fun!

Happy Thursday!
Ginko and Shiloh are just the best mom & son team. They laugh together. I had a blast walking around and taking some relaxed portraits of them. Ginko, thanks so much for allowing me to take photos of your gorgeous self and your handsome son!

They are too cute for words. The way they laugh, talk, and kiss. After two and a half years of marriage, their love still radiates off of their smiles and loving looks towards each other. The way Ryan can make Jen laugh; the way Jen fits perfectly into his arms.
It's all about the love.

Got more of this beautiful young lady! Coming up soon!!!

We've tried to get together before and could never set a date, or time, but we both knew we wanted to shoot. Now, my wonderful neighbor and I have finally done it! And I do have to add-she looks pretty smokin'!
Maria and I went to Dos Lagos, Corona, CA and walked, talked, and enjoyed the beautiful hour before sunset (when the light is just to die for!)
Here she is showing me her inner model! Look at those eyes!

The next two are pretty much the same, just different crop in camera...but I can't choose the which one I like more!

Andrea is a good friend of mine. She is also the girl in the group that is a total lady, always in fashion, and easy going. We got together and did some new shots of her down at Newport beach.

Also... in a few weeks, I will be launching my website!!! I'm very excited to see it come to life after working on it for months now. Keep a good eye on this here blog for the link!
And now, on to the beautiful photos of Andrea!

So far, I've been getting back into the groove and trying to get everything in order. As for now, I am taking a Mexican art history class at the community college here in Riverside and it is proving to be facinating. I just love culture and all it has to offer and art is one aspect that sometimes aids in explaining the cultural significance of a people, especially if they no longer exist.
In other news, I celebrate my birthday on September 20th! Can't believe a whole year has gone by! Not sure what I'll be doing but I'm thinking a trip to Disneyland is in order!
And because blogging is better with a photo, here is one from my vacation :)

**I do want to shout out a quick reminder that I am officially open to take Senior portraits! Book now to reserve your shoot date and killer summer light while it's still here!
