Comfort Birthday Photos Downtown Romantic Zone Puerto Vallarta

So when your friend books a photographer for your birthday as a gift, you never let that friend go! That’s what Comfort’s bestie did and we had such a fun time capturing the beautiful and joyous Comfort ever!

We walked, talked, connected, and honestly I’m coming to SD just to get a drink with ya ladies! I love my clients! :D

Michael Branding & Headshots Old Town Puerto Vallarta

More and more I’m getting solo session clients and I’m loving it! Having that one-on-one connection with people from all over the world is something I really enjoy.

I met Michael at his condo where he was staying and the rooftop did not disappoint! The playlist they had was giving us major 90’s and 00’s vibes with Cher, Nirvana, Snoop Dogg, and Whitney Houston blasting through the speakers. It was adding to our already fun session!

Tyhana & Vance Couple's Session Nuevo Vallarta Marina, Puerto Vallarta Mexico

This session was so fun! I can’t even stop grinning each time I look at the photos and remember all the laughs, jokes, talk, and just fire energy that these two had!

It was so great to watch two people be themselves in front of me and have fun with it. The conversation was fun, it was all fun! I was so happy to be chosen! Each session is unique with different clients and the more I get the honor of photographing such beautiful people the more I feel so blessed. On to the photos! If you follow me on IG then you’ve seen a couple but here are more!

Thank you so much T & V, you have a very special place in my heart!

Location was at Marina Nuevo Vallarta

Carla Naomi Birthday Solo Portraits in colorful Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Meeting Carla was like meeting a friend that you don’t see often but pick up right where you left off. Her smile is contagious and her love for adventure was incredible!

She came to Puerto Vallarta to celebrate her birthday in style! Nothing better than celebrating with a cocktail by the beach in Mexico while watching the most spectacular sunsets in the world!

We met in Downtown Puerto Vallarta which because Carla wanted some more color and life in her photos. We found some famous spots and a little piece of beach before the sun set.

Let’s get to the photos! Click on the photos to view full size.

Bergert Family at Destiladeras Beach Club, Riviera Nayarit

If you’ve been to my website lately, you’ll see this beautiful family of 4 splashed right on the home page. That was from three years ago!

So when Doug contacted me to gift his beautiful wife Krista a session for Valentine’s day, I was so happy for two reasons: 1. I got to see my clients again which makes me feel really happy; and 2. Got to update their photos for this family, which also makes me happy!

Buuuutttt… I was soooo NERVOUS!

Seriously, I thought to myself “how am I going to top the previous photos?!” Because honestly and totally tooting my own horn here, we got amazing photos last time.

Well, when my clients are happy it shows and makes my job so much easier! I looooved this set and so glad they came out great!

A note about the location, it’s Destiladeras beach which is a public beach toward Punta Mita and one of my favorites in the entire Puerto Vallarta/Riviera Nayarit area. Long shores, beautiful waves which are small but add depth, and the sunset is just GLORIOUS.

Puerto Vallarta Now Amber Resort couples session with Arely & Javi

I was so excited to photograph Arely and Javi for their couples session in Puerto Vallarta! The day looked gloomy but as always, PV likes to keep us on our toes. The clouds looked like they weren’t going anywhere and we weren’t gonna get a sunset. Until… I saw the small clearing just above the water which means… We’ll get a heck of a sunset!

Sometimes it’s like that. You never know and I’m getting to know Puerto Vallarta more and more with each year that goes by. And those clouds don’t care me anymore!

Rain season is coming though! haha.

Anyway! On to the beautiful amazing wonderful photos! I enjoyed laughing and playing and even getting a little wet!

Thank you Arely & Javi! I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip!

Baby Moon for baby #4! Puerto Vallarta Maternity Photographer

This session was so nice! We were worried because it was cloudy all day and even as it got closer to the session time. And just as predicted, Puerto Vallarta likes to keep you on your toes and as the sun began to set the sun came out!

The session was at the new eco-resort perched close to Lo de Marcos in the Riviera Nayarit - about 20 mintues from Puerto Vallarta, the One & Only Mandarina.

The rooms are perched over the hills like birdhouses and all of them have a view of the cove where we had our session.

I’ve seen this resort all over Instagram lately so it was a treat to get to actually see it. This session was so BEAUTIFUL.

Enjoy!

Your Mexican Beach Portrait Session Experience | Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

I photograph in many of the same locations again and again. Here in Bucerias and Puerto Vallarta, this means that I photograph many sessions at the same beach.

However, it has always surprised me that I could photograph two sessions on the same day at the same location and each session will be SO different from the other. No two sessions are ever alike and this is because of YOU.

You, my clients, are the ones that make each session unique and truly one of kind. Yeah, I know that sounds cheesy but it’s 100% honest truth. The way that you approach the session is what makes it YOURS AND ONLY YOURS.

I’m using caps because I need to emphasize that each session is tailored to you and that each portrait experience is not like any other.

I never get tired of photographing portrait sessions at the beach. The sunset, sometimes at noon with the beautiful blue sky reflecting the blue water. The vastness of the shoreline and always, the fun that splashing in the warm water brings.

Each portrait session experience depends on what you enjoy. Like to be romantic during engagement photos, we’ll be romantic. Like to be playful for family portraits, let’s have fun. Want to mix in a little bit of both for your anniversary session, we’ll do both.

Your experience in front of my camera is important to me and I hope that you enjoy it to the fullest because moments are fleeting and as cheesy as it sounds, photography is all that is left to remember your life by.

So enjoy the session, don’t be nervous, I got you.

Brenda & Sared Puerto Vallarta Sunset Beach Portrait Session

I met Brenda at University during a Photo Club meet up. Since then, our lives have changed, gone down different paths, and Brenda photographed my wedding!

She recently came to Puerto Vallarta and I couldn’t go without hanging out with her and Sared. She proposed we do sessions of each other and I was super happy to capture her and Sared’s happiness together on the beach of Destiladeras!

I love this beach so much for its long shores and calm seas. It is also a beach where the sun sets behind the horizon rather than setting behind the mountains of Bahia.

Well, without further ado, here is a very special session of a person and her love that are even more dear to me!

Kao Family Nuevo Vallarta Beach Portraits

Getting to hang out with fun families with cute personalities are my favorite. These little guys were just the most fun kids at this session!

At the end of our session, dad told the boys to thank me for capturing their family memories and it made me smile from ear to ear and then on the way home, it brought tears to my eyes because that is EXACTLY what I aim to do for all families: CAPTURE FAMILY MEMORIES.

People come from all over the world and take the time to get portraits taken on one of Mexico’s most beautiful beaches and it’s a perfect time to really soak in being a family, hanging out together, and getting one of kind portraits taken.

It’s a perfect time to capture your children making sand castles. Wearing their favorite colorful sunglasses when they were three because they are only three once. It’s the perfect time to capture that wave that wet everyone and made your whole family belly laugh!

Those are the moments we all want to remember, looking back at photos of ourselves with our family living our best lives. Even if it means getting wet from head to toe. Or getting to hang on dad because he’s so much fun. Or kissing your brother because you love him so much.

Because kids grow, get older, and forget that when they were three, they got to splash in the water and not worry about a thing.

Don’t let these moments pass you by, get your portraits taken.
