Garrett & Amber | Inland Empire Wedding Photographer
About a month ago I was asked by Brenda, of Bravo Image, to help her shoot a friend's wedding. It was the first time I'd meet Garrett and Amber.

Even though we've only met once, and for a brief moment, they are an amazing couple full of love and joy. From the small intimate wedding held for their closest family and friends to the vows they gave each other was a testament of their love to one another.

Brenda, we totally rocked it! Thanks for allowing me to be your second shooter!

Roundtrip in one day
I woke at 6am to prepare my self, and my life, for a very short trip back east. I waited patiently for my ride to arrive. We began to ascend into a sky so blue and filled with puffy white clouds that looked like cotton candy. A painting, I thought it seemed.

As we got higher and higher, I couldn't resist taking a picture of what Ontario looks like from a plane. The mountains are absolutely gorgeous.

Somewhere in the midwest, the sun began to set and the clouds gathered closer and closer in the midnight blue of the sky. The sun was a perfect angle highlighting the contours of my make believe pillow of clouds that were strewn together across the horizon many feet above ground.

And the Delaware river was nothing short of amazing. The sun's glistening reflection as we flew over and finally making our descent out of the clouds. It was an amazing sight to see the difference between Ontario and Philadelphia.

I got a little bit of time during the trip to actually see a bit of the country side. This was one of many beautifully tree lined streets.

We drove up on a road that led us to this building. It sits behind a farm on a rolling green field...a gorgeous sight! Especially on a such a beautiful day!

In case you're wondering, I was in Delaware on a business trip and the beauty of it was amazing to me. All the green fields, trees, and colonial homes are spectacular. I will definitely be visiting again, and hopefully for a longer period of time!

And it's telling me that I should post up sneak peeks of her beautiful Zoey!

She is just adorable and for a primi, she has come a long way, but she's never anything short than being amazingly beautiful!

Gabbie: I always have a great time hanging out with you at Coffee Depot and catching up on our lives! I can't wait until you come back for Isaac's birthday, in which I'm sure I'll be taking some pictures of him too, after all, he is my godson! Love you and your beautiful kids always!

What is it about a baby's foot that is just so darn adorable?

Eyes like her mama!

Enrique and a Full Moon
There is nothing better than singing at the top of my lungs to Enrique Iglesias and seeing a crescent moon in my side view mirror with white twinkling lights of the cars behind me as I flying down the 91.

It was such a beautiful reminder that life's simple pleasures, like the amazing crescent moon, can really make someone's day, or in my case, night.

So I suppose the purpose of this post is to always be grateful for beautiful moments. They are fleeting and if you don't catch them, they're gone forever.

I have a few things coming up: meeting someone new and capturing them as the beautiful person they are, a wedding I'm second shooting, trip out to Delaware, and my birthday...

...so stay tuned!

5 AM?!
Yes, 5 o'clock in the morning exists. It's the time when the soft cool air caresses your skin and although it is still dark outside, the calmness of the hour is refreshingly present.

I woke up just in time to get myself ready for a long day. Not for a wedding nor a photo session, it was to assist my wonderful and talented make up artist & hair dressing sister, Elanie, with a wedding. I was the curl girl. And oh, yes, I am now officially a hair curling master!

Anyway, we arrived at the hotel where the bride was staying at and began working, I mean, assisting. No matter how long the day was, it was a lot of fun!

Aside from being the curl master assistant, I also shoot for Elanie's portfolio. So here are some photos from the beautiful work she does. Check out her blog...you won't be disappointed!

Cooks, Indians, & Friends
I know I have been MIA for the past couple of weeks and as I explained in the previous post, I've been going through some what of a transitional phase in both photographically and personally. I have also tried to soak up some of the summer fun that I've been missing out this year.

Sunday was perfect. The weather was warm, the road open, and a monumental event was underway: The revealing of the new 2009 Indian Motorcycles. Many if not most of you, are familiar with Harley-Davidson. The motorcycle company whose hogs ruled the road for quite some time. Yes, they are inevitably a classic. However, before Harley met Davidson, there was Indian Motorcycles. They were the very first motorcycles America had. Bicycles with motors and what eventually came to be the unique design of the 2009 models.

Okay, enough with the history mambo jumbo...what all that means is that my dad, sister, and I, along with the company of my cousin, road out to Cook's Corner in the OC and saw the motorcycle. The Indian Chief, VIN # 001. We also ate and hung out with some awesome friends.

And of course, the ride was amazing.

Where Have I Been?
Yes, every now and then I go a week without blogging. It's called life...which means that I'm super busy!

I haven't necessarily been shooting, but rather had a very pleasant visit from my cousin, Jackie. We've had a lot of fun hanging out and there are photos to come!

I've also been in a transitional period as far as my day job goes so as soon as I'm all settled in, I'll be back on the blog posting away :)

So stay tuned!
