Bernice | Boudoir Photographer

Bernice commented very nice things on a mutual friend's post on Facebook about the work my sister and I do.  I of course said thank you with as many ! as I could put and instantly I friend requested her.  She and I would talk here and there, but I knew that we totally got each other.

So when she messaged me about doing a boudoir session for her fiance as a wedding gift I was more than happy to set the date.  Then she told me she wanted to pose on her fiance's Harley and right then I knew she was a girl after my own heart.  I mean c'mon, what's sexier than a boudoir session on a motorcycle?!

Bernice: thank you so much for allowing me to convert your garage into my own little studio.  It takes a lot of guts to show off your bad self and I had fun meeting you for the first time and being instant friends :).  I hope your fiance likes the photos... because you look pretty hott!

Mandy & JB = Jahzara | Laguna Beach Maternity Photographer

When Mandy uploaded a photo of her ultrasound with baby Jahzara, I was so elated for her.  You see, Mandy has experienced college life at UCLA, traveled the world, and has had many great experiences.  Now she and JB are on the path to being parents.  Jahzara means "Princess" and she is truly blessed to have parents who are so excited to welcome her into the world.

We met up on the shore of Laguna Beach on what was supposed to be a rainy day.  Luckily, we had only grey clouds and soft light.

Mandy & JB:  Thank you for allowing me to photograph such a special time in Jahzara's life and in your lives.  I can't wait to see baby Jahzara and welcome her to this world as well!

With much love,

Jackie

Model | Laguna Beach Photographer

Nicole and I messaged back and forth for weeks trying to nail down a day and time for her shoot.  She was looking for some beach modeling shots to help build her portfolio and of course I said yes!

It was cold and a little gloomy but we didn't get caught in the rain and even had some sun come through the heavy clouds.  I loved doing this shoot and you'd never guess Nicole is barely starting out in modeling!

Nicole: Good luck girl I know you'll go far!

Of Shiny Flutes and Beautiful Boys | Inland Empire Portrait Photographer

I remember the very first time I met Ms. Hodges. She entered my 5th grade classroom and showed the students various musical instruments because she was recruiting more members to the elementry band. When the flute in all of it's lusture was held in the badly lit flourenscent room, my eyes gleamed. I went straight home and told my parents what I had seen, I had seen the most wonderful instrument in the world! Or, at 10 years old, it seemed that way.

Then Ms. Hodges turned into Mrs. Jones and after 8th grade was over, we parted ways. I continued to High School and was promoted to the marching band while she stayed behind to show her shiny instruments to other students.

Now, Mr. and Mrs. Jones have two little Jones of their own and let me tell you, they are too cute for words! So, because of this I think I'll just get straight to the photos :)

Thanks Jones Family for allowing me to shoot these two little handsome guys, I had soooo much fun!

Birthday Card

Every now and again I am asked to design a greeting card, birthday invite, or grad announcement and although I didn't major in graphic design, I am always thrilled to accept!

I aboslutely rejoice in the opportunity to creat something that is uniquely and originally made for my clients. It also allows my creativity to blossom and go places I haddn't explored yet. I know it sounds cheesy but having a blank canvas is sometimes so refreshing! I'm no painter, but I can design a kick ass card that is definitely a preview of my clients' personality. And that, gives me utter joy.

A few weeks ago I shot the beautiful Alexis for her birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY!) invite. Her colors: Red and blue. at first I thought, "how am I going to make red and blue work for a 7 year old invite?" But after much erasing, deleting, and changing colors, here is the final product!

Hope you enjoyed your birthday party Alexis!
